Connect Your Existing WhatsApp API Setup to WAConversionTracking (WACT)

✅ What You’ll Need:

• Your existing WABA ID

• Your phone number ID

• Admin access to your Meta Business Manager

• Access to your Facebook App linked with the WABA

🔁 Required Modifications

1. Add the WACT Webhook URL

1. Go to your Facebook App Dashboard

2. Navigate to WhatsApp > Configuration

3. Under Webhook, click Edit

4. Set:
• Callback URL: https://app.waconversiontracking.com/api/webhook
• Verify Token: waconv123

5. Click Verify and Save

This enables WACT to receive and log incoming WhatsApp messages.

2. Subscribe to Webhook Events

1. In the same WhatsApp > Configuration section

2. Under Webhook Fields, click Manage

3. Enable:
• messages
• account_alerts

4. Click Save

3. Generate a Permanent Access Token

1. Go to Business Settings

2. Under System Users, create a new user (e.g. WAConversionUser)

3. Assign this user:
• Full control to your Facebook App
• Manage WhatsApp accounts permission under Accounts > WhatsApp Accounts

4. Click Generate Token

5. Choose:
• Never Expire
• Permissions:
• whatsapp_business_messaging
• whatsapp_business_management

6. Copy and store the token securely — you’ll use it inside WAConversionTracking

🔐 Final Step: Configure Inside WAConversionTracking

• Enter your phone number ID

• Enter your WABA ID

• Paste your access token
